MC's... you really need to calm it down. We all know your health is very bad and you don't have family except for your dogs. And you tend to take your frustrations out on board members here. You have run off many people, but thank goodness new ones keep pouring in. Do you check your blood sugar often? Are you on insulin? Maybe if you would pay as much attention to your health as you say you do your dogs and all the time it takes ragging people on this site, you could do wonders for your health, self-esteem, and well-being. Get healthy... start eating healthy... check your blood sugar and adjust your insulin therapy. You REALLY CAN live a normal life without all these mood swings...
<<In 1960, only nine percent of children under age 18 lived in single-parent homes. By 1999, the percentage rose to 27 percent. Today only 68 percent of children live in two-parent households, in contrast to 77 percent in 1980. Increases in divorce and out-of-wedlock births are responsible for this trend.
Female-headed households grew nearly five times faster than married-couple households with children in the 1990s. While married-couple households increased by under six percent, female-headed households grew by 25 percent and the recent phenomenon of single-father households increased by 62 percent.>>

Manchester... your response to EliNHunter had nothing to do with her concern of you. She is involved with diabetics and only want to help you. I think your wisdom could be extended with her input. Please, we only want you to be a healthier , happier person !

My response was to show that I do NOT try to aggravate people.....simply put forth facts. As in the issue of marrying young, etc. I figured I would kill three birds with one stone.

I agree I could be healtheir, and if I could find someone to mow the grass for me, I would be happier. BUT the important factor is CONTENTMENT!! And that I have!!

What is her involvement with diabetes? I know what my problem is, but seem to not be able to really give a darn about testing and shooting. And I admit to being a stupid arse in that respect. Heart surgery, cataract surgery both eyes, and a few other things just because I am too poopheaded to test and shoot!!!!!!! You tell me, rofl. Guess I really don't care enough??

You all are right about the info on divorce. I was using the "recents" thingie on this browser to go to the site to get the URL to post, and then back to the reply. It took me back to the wrong blasted reply page, rofl. Oh well.......poop happens!

Tabbed browsers are NOT all they are cracked up to be.

That's true... you're too poopheaded to test and give yourself insulin. What if you tried it for a trial period to see how you felt? I just know how sh*tty a diabetic can feel when their blood sugars aren't in order. Let me know if I can help...

It's nothing to mess around with. My mom is diabetic, her's is controled by diet right now. My grandmother had to do the insulin. Thing is, if you dont take care of yourself you will end up dying earlier than if you had taken it. Who will give us hell if you dont take care of yourself? Who will get us spitting at our computer screens out of anger ? Got to take care of yourself. If not for yourself, do it for your dogs. They need you.

What the h*ll are you talking about, h2? Like we don't know the seriousness of diabetes? It is VERY serious. Not sure where you're trying to come from (with your adolescent non-knowledge) or if your just trying to stir the pot again

That is why he/she/it is on my ignore list. Very handy button. My dad has diabeties and he just all of a sudden went from a sweety to a nasty, person. When we found out what was wrong he started testing his blood and so far he ahs been able to control it with diet and one pill a day. He is back to his normal self too. It must be very hard on people to have that because the sugar level has got to do weird things. At least that is what I think but I am not a doctor and with the exception of my dad have never dealt with anyone else who had it.

It's a very nasty disease as it is what feed all the cells in your body. When your blood sugar is "off", then your organs start failing. That's why it's so important to test your blood sugar constantly to make sure it's in the range it should be. If it's too high, you need an injection of insulin to bring it down. If it's too low, you need to eat something sugarey to bring it back up. Your organs use your blood as its fuel source. So, when it's not got the right chemical properties to keep them afloat, that's when they start shutting down....
