I survived my birthday weekend watching an additional dog (one that also can't be out with my roommate's dog unsupervised) because of stuffed kongs, cow ears, and bully sticks this morning. I love chewies!

What are your favorite dog occupying chewies?

Hooves.

I like that they are ridiculously cheap, and Juno will quietly spend HOURS chewing on one. And they actually hold up well. But they smell so, so awful.

My dogs don't get a lot of chewies. Their stomachs are so touchy, so I tend not to give them a lot of stuff. They do get a couple Bully Sticks a month though, now that I get them at a good price. They don't last very long (Dance can go through one in about a half hour or less, the Dobes about 45mins to an hour), but they enjoy them.

My dogs used to love hooves but now that they're older (maybe? or they just got bored?) they definitely don't eat the hooves with as much gusto. I sure wish they would though, because they are SO MUCH cheaper!

My new love is the Himalayan chews! They last almost 2 hours! Other than that, bully sticks are great, but they only buy me 5 minutes, tops.

She has little to no interest in antlers anymore :(

I wish I could find a chew that occupied Elsa like those stupid Jumbones do. My only hatred of them is that when chewed they turn to mush and that mush is like a paste on the fur of her legs.

Oh, I forgot about Antlers! They do get those. Elk ones only, though. Other kinds they go through in minutes.

Bully sticks are the best as far as occupying him goes. He likes them best and we can get the ones that don't smell. I don't think we could have survived his puppy hood without them. They last a few days so long as we choose thick ones.

He is not crazy about the Himalayan chews or antlers like he is about the bully stick. But I like antlers because they last long and he will chew them if he's bored, he just doesn't love them like he does the bully sticks.

He loved the hoof we got him but it stank so he can't have any more.
