Another friend wants me to take one of her GSD pups for sport. They're awfully cute but I'm leaning towards no - as it is right now LOL
Also, Kastle's dam is being bred for the last time this Spring...O M G Not absolutely positive I can resist that! Taking time to think it over
She's not even in heat yet so I have time.

Vibes for a successful breeding, an uneventful gestation, and at least 3 male puppies, please! (I'm third on the list for a boy as the breeder is keeping one and her friend is taking one, and if there aren't any males I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't have a female if I ever want Chloe to live with me again, but I adore this breeding and it is going to be perfect timing so...I really don't want to make that choice. Ugh.)

There will always be another litter, always another puppy. It is hard to wait but no one else has to pay the fees in money, time, and energy when the pup is battling for your current dogs attention.
That is what keeps me in line. I have a litter I am tentatively on the list for but if the right bitch doesn't happen I will be okay, my sport dogs are still young and on the other hand my pit bulls are reaching the ends of their lives so if it stays just us for a while we'll probably be better for it.

Sometimes it sucks training with people and their shiny young sport dogs. I'm sitting here with a near 9 year old and a dog with iffy knees. I have to say that new dog crosses my mind a lot these days.
I keep reminding myself as long as the two I have are enjoying it, we're doing fine.
