We found out we're having a GIRL!!!

We did a 3D ultrasound and she looks like an alien. Haha:

Got the phone call today that I failed my 1 hour glucose test with a 141 Waaaah, have to go in next week for the 3 hour, 4 gazillion needle test.

I'm just grateful that I have a teacher work day next week, so I won't have to call in a sub.

Karen, that sucks, but I hear a lot of people fail the 1 hour and it doesn't mean anything, they pass the 3 hour fine

Decided to check out the hospitals around the birth center I'm considering. Primary c-sec rate at one (they are both about 2 miles from the BC) is **12%**. TWELVE! So amazing! Fingers crossed that this will still be an option when have to start looking at options for reals.

That's what I'm hoping.

Cut off was 134. I'm hoping my first number was high because I took the test at 3 pm after eating all day. This one requires fasting and going first thing in the morning.

Doctors appointments are not really conducive with normal people working schedules!

You'll be good to go, I'm sure.

Bring a good book or something to work

Erin that is awesome about the c-sec rate! Awesome that you have the option of a birth centre too!!

Clarissa turned 11 months this week. It's crazy how time has flown by in a weird blurry mess. I go back to work in two weeks. Ack !

She is babbling away like no ones business. Loves to dance, crawling and pulling up, working on her free stand and walking while holding onto things. Her and Aura are good friends - Aura lets her crawl all over her and pretty much do anything she wants she loves the attention. She's got a mischievous little grin and I foresee a lot of trouble in my future lol!

Baby Case Alexander was born 10:16 this am. 5lbs 4 oz 19 and 3/4 long


I ended up with a c section. His heart rate kept dropping and wouldn't come up from 30 something.

Exhausted but so happy!

Yesterday was husbands bday. Weird cuz that's how my brother and dad are to.

He is so awake and active and he is doing great for coming early. Dr said wouldn't have guessed except for a little underweight.

Ltrasound showed some distress yesterday so they had me in and pushing by this am but his heart rate didn't recover last push and in six minutes he was out!

My husband is great with him! So sweet to see them together. I am still beat but so glad it all worked out!
