Hi ... sorry for never posting. I hope to be around more now. I recently switched watercolour paper after trying an 'economy' one when I was on a trip . The new paper is called Artistico by Fabriano which is 100% cotton and rough texture. The surface is workable for a long time ... in fact I've never seen the surface started to dissolve with too much working. I have also started to shade more with my watercolour & inks. Anyway , here are a few with this paper; I tried the finer grain version of this paper but for ink , it allows too much dry white paper to still show through so the rough grain is better.
