First...I admit...that we do allow Stella on the furniture. She has claimed a bed in the guest bedroom as her own.....sleeps with us or randomly during the day by herself on our bed.

She sleeps on the sofa....armchair...and loveseat in the living room...and I just realized tonight that there is one piece of furniture she NEVER gets up on.

We have 1 armchair in the living room....that was the favorite napping spot of our much loved lab, Sadie, that we said goodbye to in April of this year. Stella NEVER jumps onto that chair.

Sadie was on all of the other furniture, but the blue chair was her absolute favorite....

Is it odd that Stella never gets up on that one chair?

Did you have Stella at the same time you had Sadie?

That's where I was leading to also but if she did not have both dog's at the same time then that would not be it.

Maybe she sees it as something that you do not do like for Someone to sit in Archie Bunkers chair.
