I use Eagle Pack for my cats. They like that stuff good. For some reason they don't like the canned Eagle Pack they prefer there Friskies over anything else.

So Innova and Eagle Pack have good cat foods....what else?
I thought Friskies is a bad, or worse, cat food?

Friskies isn't great. I give my cats a can of tuna (between three cats) as a treat. I agree with the suggestions of Innova and Eagle Pack.

Ok I'll tell my friend those two.
Do you know what too look for and what to stay away from in cat foods?

I think they same idea as with dog foods. Something that uses human grade ingredients and preferably is organic. Eagle Pack makes a holistic cat food that my cats are crazy for when they get it.

My cats won't eat the Eagle Pack canned food. They turn their nose up at it. I still feed them the friskies canned food, when they get canned food, but it's not a big part of their diet so I am not too concerned about it.

I feed my cat a partial raw, partial canned, and partial kibble diet. I don't like to feed a completely kibble diet as it's stressful on their kidneys. For myself I like all of the Natura products http://www.naturapet.com/display.php?d=home-tab
Natures Remedy, Wellness, Solid Gold, Holistic blend, Felidae (Canidae), Artemis etc.
My cat loves to chomp on raw chicken necks, I give her hamburg, raw beef, Lamb, Ox, etc. I make a mixture of yogurt, hemp seed oil, whole egg including shell, sardines (I never give my cats tuna), Salmon, veggies, quarter of a garlic clove and mix up in the blender for a nice meal and then add the chunks of meat to it. She loves it. I also give her peices of left over meats and veggies from my meals along with my dogs. ;)
