Anyone try or heard anything on the Castor and Pollux Natural Ultramix brand they sell at Petco? I caved in and went in today to buy my puppies their beloved Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33 despite my attempts to keep them on a better quality food and saw lots of premium food like Eagle Pack, Natural Balance, etc.... I came across this brand and remember my friend's kitten eating this brand and loving it. Just wondering what your dogs (and you guys) think of it!

Thanks.

It's pretty good; definitely a lot better than many of the foods out there! My dogs got a sample pack of it, and while I prefer to feed them grain-free, they liked it and the ingredients look good to me. :)

If it weren't for the menadione, it would be a pretty nice product (despite the brewer's rice as a main carb source) considering that it is produced as a Petco store brand food.

If the price is the same in-store than it is on the Petco website, it's sadly overpriced considering the level of quality though - you can get high end brands like Innova and Canidae for less.
