No, that's what I'm saying. I don't look at the thread either. And since it seems like the majority of the posts in that forum go into that thread - or at least did at one point, no idea if they do anymore - I don't even look at the photo forum anymore.

If I see a different post title pop up as the most recent thread I'll click on it... that's about the majority of my interaction with that forum now.

I think the photo forum as a whole has slowed down because of the "daily snapshot" thread. I pretty much quit looking in the photo forum because it seems like there's rarely very many new threads...

I guess we all need to be taking and posting more pictures! I know I want to see Beanie's pictures of her dogs with the freaky elf!


I also think that a lot of us are on FB, so we see a lot of pictures on FB first and comment on the pictures there.

Sometimes I feel that way too, but I try to remember I often don't post either. It's an odd section, it's one of those that I just... sometimes forget about it. Or sometimes I'll be reading from a tablet or phone and don't feel like replying. It's pure laziness.

I'm going to make an effort to remember to view it more! I agree in general chaz has seemed slower though.

I for one loooovee photos of Talon & Art. Seriously though, not just saying that! They're some of my favorite. So I either didn't see the thread, or saw it and forgot to comment.

I just never post in the photo section ..the odd time. I try to make a point to comment! I should be better at it but lots of time it's my downtime at work& so I look through all the threads then get busy doing my actual work& forget to ever go back& reply. That& I usually read more than I post in general. I don't have much to contribute LOL

I don't get many replies either and I think it used to bug me... like, honestly the biggest reason I even take pictures is to share them! Or at least, that's the reason I invested in a nice camera and lug that thing out, if they were just for my enjoyment I'd just use my cell phone lol. But I kind of figure, meh I hardly ever reply to photo threads either. It's not that I don't look at them but sometimes it just doesn't feel necessary to write "nice pictures/cute dogs!" when a bunch of other people already have.

I go through spurts where I'll comment on a couple photo threads and that's it. I really should get better because I DO enjoy seeing everyone's dogs.

But then I remember I don't often post, either, even when I really enjoy the pictures. There are just so many factors about limited replies, most stated in this thread already.

And for the record, I love Fable and Millie. I sometimes notice that some of my picture threads don't get many replies, but I don't mind. Comments/replies make me so, so, so happy but I know everyone has lives of their own, too! And I've already admitted to being terrible at replying on the phone and tablet, and I know I'm not the only one. Plus... I figure over the last 3-4 years, most Chazzers have said something nice to me about my dog at least once, so they probably like him okay

Thanks so much! <3 She is better in a lot of ways, but it's a rough ride.
