Can dogs eat jalapenos?

My family got a pizza and it gives 2 jalapenos on the side. We didn't eat them, just left them in the box and threw the box away. But I guess one of them fell out and Rocket attempted to eat it, but instead of just eating and swallowing, he chewed it, spit it out, and barked at it for a little. Then he tried to eat it again, and he'd drop it and bark, almost like he was frustruated with it. I found that funny, but I'm just concerned if it's okay for them to eat (or healthy). Thanks.

Are you sure they where jalapenos?

We use to get Pepperincini's (sp?) with our pizza's all the time. They are a light green about the size of jalapenos. They have seeds inside too and are pretty good...lol yummmmm.

Positive. I've had pizza from the same place and had them once. I think I've seen dogs on TV eat some chili's or something, so I assume that jalapenos wouldn't be tooo bad for them... but either way he's okay now.
