Buddy is LOUD.

And I don't mean meowing either.

He's the kind of cat you can hear grooming himself from across the room.

He kind of purrs while he does it, and also makes this obnoxious sucking/snortling noise. It's really really REALLY irritating after a while lol

I love my kitten boy, but this is one thing he does I don't know if I can fix, and is just annoying.

Just my rant Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, most cat owners should. I don't mind it for a bit, but after a while the sound of that kind of grooming makes me sick to my stomach. The purring is kinf of funny, but when you hear the smacking and slurping. . . *cringe*

I have never had a cat audibly groom him/herself before. Siam is loud, but that's because she likes to say MEOWW to everything. Typical Siamese

Petey is a quiet cat. His meow is "mrow" and his purr is even pretty quiet. He doesn't meow much.
