So I found this site where you can find meetup groups for your breed of dog. I'm going to join this doxie meetup close to my city. Only breed meetup I could find with my breed of dogs. So cool, lots of weiner dogs in one setting lol.

I went to a Beagle meet thingy once and while it was fun, really also kinda depressed me. SO MANY FAT BEAGLES!

I could not get over it. Some were really on the edge of being sick/immobile from it. Very sad. My hound had a wonderful time and the people were nice but you know...it's just one of my pet peeves and they don't think it's any big deal.

*sigh*

Wooohooo! They didnt have anything dog related very close to me, but im suprised... i live in a VERY small town, and there is a "momma's club" right in my town! I think I might join! it's only 15 dollars a year, which is practically nothing!

If you ever make it down to DM, you can have a breed meetup. ;)

Dance is going to her second Toller meet on Saturday. The last one was lots of fun eventhough not many showed up, but hopefully this one will be even better! Not that she even knows she's a Toller... she probably thinks she's a Doberman, lol.

He could come to the pap meet. :)

(We really allow all kinds of dogs there... mostly we get papillons but we also get 90 lb BBDs as well LOL)

He can be an honorary papillon. ;)

I have been to a few Border Collie meetings, where people brought the dogs, but that was for BC Club of Northern California. There aren't any "play" meet-ups that I know of for BCs around here.

I brought Fozzie to a few Corgi meet-ups... they're held once a month, about 10 minutes from me. Seeing all of the dogs is fun but, like Gina, I get upset seeing so many obese Corgis... at least the owners are apparently TRYING to get them to exercise, but it's still hard to keep quiet about it. The Corgi owners themselves are pretty cliquey, to be honest. Fozzie is just the "mix"... there is one lady with a Cardigan who is super nice! Everyone else has Pemmies, and seem to feel superior because of that.

I looked at it, there is one for dachshunds, pugs, mutts, and even rats in my area lol!

I am going to a pug meetup next month for a pug rescue..they are coming to the dog park I go to every week anyway.

I don't really need the meet up groups for different breeds, I already take the dogs to the dog park a few times a week..and they meet other dogs.
