I have a four month old Siamese kitten girl named Lily. We got her two months ago and her breeder told us she was a girl but ever since we got her i have not been sure. Should females have any sort of bulge back there, or should it be complatly flat. I also have her two year old brother and she looks alot like him in her genitals (hes been neutered). So i was wondering what you guys think. Photos would be helpful. siamese color cats would also help because there genitals are a different color than the surronding area.

    Ok check photos here.

If you can photo your kittens "area" that would be helpful.

I would think if the breeder was any sort of reputible one she would know what sex it is. If she was wrong, I wouldn't go back to that breeder again.

    Your kitten must be adorable!
I agree with her, pictures would be helpful, and if the breeder was wrong, don't got back.

At four months you should be able to feel the testicles. Much younger then that and it can be a little difficult. Just reach back there and feel. I remember a little kitten at the shelter that I named Eva. I got a call from her foster mom a few weeks later informing me that Eva had just turned into Evan. Oops.

oh ouch I think it would hurt! Why would you squeeze them? Just run your fingers over that area, if it is a male you will feel a definate buldge there unless he is a cryptorchid or something. Maybe he is a cryptorchid, didn't think about that one. It might be harder to sex the kitten then.

Seriously take a picture of your cat's behind area and post it on here and I will try to figure it out if it is a clear picture.

Aww!! I love Siamese, and I plan to get adopt from a rescue in the next few years once I get a house where it can be indoors. I'd say it's a male also. I've been researching siamese, and have looked into sexing them, and haven't noticed a "bump" in any of the pix. Good luck!! Willy's cute! :p Or Billy. :D

You don't have to squeeze hard. Just a gentle touch and you should be able to feel them. I'm sure it would hurt if pinched him there hard.

How funny is that? Lilly is now "Willie." Don't worry, this happens. It can be very hard to sex a kitten when they're a month old or under...mistakes happen. At least now you know what to look for in the future, if you get any more kittens!

    :lol-sign:

Glad you got it sorted out, and Willie is such a fitting name.

If you want to share some pics and need any help on how to upload let me know.

Google photobuckett and upload the pics there and then you copy and paste the line with IMG around it.

Do you have an online image hosting account? Photobucket is a good choice ( http://photobucket.com/ ). Once you set up an account, you can upload you pictures to it..

    PhotoBucket:

    1. Log into Photobucket.
    2. Click on ‘my album’
    3. There is a rectangular section with the heading “Choose an image (or a video)”. Click on the “Browse” button and a window opens where you can search for the image you want to upload from your P.C.
(You can upload multiple images at a time. Just click on the “Add more images link” in the same section)
    4. Select the image name, and click on “Open”.
    5. Click the “Upload” button.

Now, you may need to scroll down a little; you should see the image/s you uploaded. Underneath the image you should see the “URL Link”, the “HTML tag” and “IMG Code”

    6. Click on the “IMG Code”. Highlighted in yellow “Copied” will quickly appear.

Now, you need to post the copied code for your image in Chaz:

    7. Start a new thread. Right-click your mouse and select paste. You will see something like this:

You will need to copy and paste the IMG Code for each image.

When you submit your reply, the image will appear in the thread.
