All right, I'm working on Voodoo's heel and have hit a small snag.

He bounces.

Voodoo will stay right by my side, but will frisk, prance and bounce into the air while we go along. I'm not sure what to do about this puppy enthusiasm. Aside from that, he has a very good heel and automatic sit.

Any suggestions to teach him to walk nicely?

I don't know- a dog that is in the right position and is excited about it sounds pretty good to me. If he gets out of hand use some verbals on him. When he's doing it right praise him, when his bouncing gets out of control to where it's no longer a good heel, give him a verbal correction.

Ya, I would be careful with this.
It's great that he loves doing it so much, my dog has to be bribed!
As long as he keeps his position and continues sitting, I don't think it's a problem.
