Hmmmm... okay... I've narrowed it down! Thanks so much to Allie and Nilly for the reviews :) Here's what I had prior to reading them:

Ars Amatoria
O

Mad Tea Party

Eat Me

Ars Draconis
Dragon's Milk

Bewitching Brews
Hymn to Prosperine
Jack

Wanderlust

Lyonesse

And I think, after reading them, this is going to be my final order:

Ars Amatoria
O

Mad Tea Party
Eat Me

Bewitching Brews
Hymn to Prosperine
Jack

Wanderlust

Lyonesse
Glasgow

I figured Eat Me and Dragon's Milk are both sweet scents, so I should switch it up and get Glasgow instead, since it sounds different than everything else on my list.

Nilly, if you're looking to get rid of the Jailbait, I'd love to try it :) It sounds fun. Obviously I don't have anything to trade for it yet, but I'd be happy to if I get something that doesn't work for me!

Looks good, Paviche! You have a nice variety - always a good decision, especially when you're learning what notes work and don't work.

Here's the order I've written out, with descriptions this time, not including my 5ml bottle of Polynesian Pop or my wand caps. ;) Trying to go with some notes that I'm pretty sure will work for me based on imps I've already tried (like fruits, spices, teas), as well as taking the plunge on some notes I've never tried or scents that just plain intrigue me.

BON VIVANT
An effervescent blend of crystalline champagne notes and sweet strawberry.

PLUNDER
The scent of a pirate's bumboat, overflowing with stolen wares: tea
leaf, cassia, cinnamon bark, clove, allspice, sandalwood, tobacco,
peppercorn, and nutmeg.

SCHRODINGER'S CAT
A paradoxical scent experiment! - tangerine, sugared lime, pink
grapefruit, oakmoss, lavender, zdravetz, and chocolate peppermint. (A
friend tried this one and got chocolate mint and lime!)

WOLF'S HEART
Grants courage under extreme conditions, helps overcome fear of death,
and strengthens the fortitude of artists and businessmen, enabling
them to further their goals.

OBATALA
Obatala’s ofrenda is soft, white and pure: milk, coconut meat, shea
butter and cool, refreshing water.

THE DORMOUSE
A dizzying eddy of four teas brushed with light herbs and a breath of peony.

TWEEDLEDUM
Absurd! Green mango, fig, patchouli and green tea.

'TIS THE VOICE OF THE LOBSTER
A woody, musky-weird base glooping over with blackberry preserves, a
twist of mandarin, strawberry juice, pulverized watermelon, and a
handful of smushed gardenia petals.

ELF
Pale golden musk, honeycomb, amber, parma violet, hawthorne bark,
aspen leaf, forest lily, life everlasting, white moss, and a hint of
wild berry.

HALFLING
Porridge, kukui nuts, and pastry crumbs.

VICE
Voluptuous and indulgent! A deep chocolate scent, with black cherry
and orange blossom.

DREAM FORMULA V: SOMNUS
Named after the Roman God of Sleep. This blend helps bring on deep,
restful, natural sleep.

As always, I welcome thoughts! I'll be placing it tomorrow.

Once I get my next "finally out of school and working 40 hours a week" paycheck I want to order some more imps. :)

Out of the ones I ordered last time, the only ones I really, really liked were Snake Oil and Coyote. I'm almost out of them and I need more! I liked Perversion and Nemesis too (although my nose can't tell them apart), just not near as much as I liked Snake Oil and Coyote.

Gosh, now I have to figure out what I want all over again.

ETA: The description of Elf sounds delicious. I may just have to get that one.

ETAA: This seems to be my list for next time!

Elf
Fenris Wolf
Dragon's Milk
Bastet
The Bow and Crown of Conquest or Tombstone (can't decide)
Sin

Bastet is really nice, my sister has it. :) As usual I'll be sharing my scent discoveries here, so I can let you know how Elf is!

vanillasugar is a doll! She gifted me with some frimps to try out. :) A great little variety, too, come notes I'm familiar with and some I haven't tried.

Unfortunately, some bad news first: I have tried two so far, and both have not turned out well. :rofl1:

I tried Shrodinger's Cat first (thanks for the heads-up on not ordering it Nilly, that's why I shared my shortlist here first!) and it started off so nice. Citrusy mint, like Nilly's review. Then it dried to... lemon dish soap. Heavy on the soap. Yick. Okay, unfortunate, but it happens. Washed it off to try another (I get overexcited).

Decided to try Baobhan Sith next. The description is Grapefruit, white tea, apple blossom and ginger. Mmmmm, but I was a bit leery of the grapefruit. Sure enough... smells wonderful going on, lots of grapefruit and apple. Stayed delicious while wet, but once dry... grapefruit soap. >_O

Before this, I hadn't tried any scents with citrus-heavy notes in them, but it seems that not only do the citrus notes come out the strongest (as citrus often does) but they dry to a soapish scent. My sister has the same problem.

Oh well, now I know, and maybe I can gift/trade the imps along! They're great scents, they just don't work on me.

Today I started with Frumious Bandersnatch. Great choice, Nilly! I love The Jabberwocky and always overlooked this scent in favour of others, but After smelling it in-imp I was very intrigued.

Bandersnatch musk, redolent of spicy carnations, wild plums and chrysanthemum.

I smelled all plum in the imp, and wet on the skin it started rising to a blend of plum and carnation. Mmmmm. Dry, it turned more to floral - carnations with a plum twist. I love it. It's spicy and girly and omg. I want to wear this one a few more times, then maybe get a 5ml. Good call, Nilly!

I have three more to try after that! Wheee!

Yay for reviews! I'm sorry that Schrodinger's Cat and Baobhan Sith didn't work for you. Weird that they turned into soap! I've yet to have that result from anything, that's the fun part of skin chemistry.

I'm really glad that Frumious Bandersnatch worked! I hadn't even tried that one yet, but it seemed like it would suit you way better than me so I took a chance!

Can't wait to hear how the others do :)

Okay, so I went to the BPAL website because I wanted to start a list of ones that I might order later on...where do I start?! There are so many links and different pages! LOL
It's so hard. :p

They're all listed by collection theme. Within each collection is a bunch of perfume oils. :) I just go from collection to collection and choose ones I may like!

Another update!

I tried Pele yesterday.

muguet and Hawaiian white ginger enveloped by warm, damp tropical blooms.

This one intrigued me. When I was sniffing all the imps after they showed up in my mailbox, this one smelled like... nothing. I sniffed and snorfled, and got nuthin. So yesterday it was its turn to go on the skin.

In-imp: Nothing. Could have been water. :rofl1:

Wet on skin: HELLO GINGER. Just ginger, and lots of ginger. Overwhelming ginger. Wasn't sure about this. Then, slowly...

Dry on skin: ... it bloomed into a beautiful bouquet of lily-of-the-valley (muguet). I smelled like fresh blooming lilies. Totally, totally okay with this. Girly and delicious.

So, like all of my I-love-this-oil scents, it's going to get tested a few times over the course of the month (I always wean out some oils because they smell horrid on me during Girl Week). If it passes the tests, It's going on the 5ml wishlist.

Then this morning, after my shower, I put on Eros.

Myrrh, lilac, and honey wine with crimson tea leaf and sweet resins.

In-imp: Strong. Hard to discern the notes because it seems to be a combo. Myrrh, definitely, but also probably the sweet resins and honey wine. Tricky, and if it stays this strong I don't know about it.

Wet on skin: Still quite strong, but less imposing. Still not getting the tea leaf, which I'm kind of hoping for... the resins seem to have calmed and the myrrh is strong. I think I'm getting lilac too, it's still sort of hard to discern.

Dry on skin: Hi tea leaf! I was hoping you'd show up, since my skin always seems to find you. Tea leaf, myrrh and lilac seem to be the finals notes present.

I don't dislike this scent! Not sure if I love it, but it's a very complex scent pattern. I'll probably enjoy this imp until it's finished, and that'll be that. :)

Tomorrow: My last imp from my beloved Nilly (thank you again omg) and then the waiting game until I receive my order of twelve + frimps. :rofl1:

I think I'm placing an order from the lab at the end of the month (maybe the beginning of next month, if I can be patient!)

I want to buy a few bottles of things I know I LOVE and will use often, and I haven't been able to find them elsewhere (like the forums). For sure on my list is: The Dormouse, Snake Oil (to age, because I'm really starting to love my imp and I think it's going to take its sweet time getting better), and Cheshire Cat.

Now the debate is if I order more imps too! (It's going to be a BIG order...)

I'm making up my Sales/Swap post this weekend, I'll link it here if anyone is interested :)

Chazzers! I'm cross posting my sale post from BPAL here, Chazzers get a special lowered price, so PM me if you're interested! :)

Well the time has come! My little bag of imps that haven't worked for me for various reasons is starting to get full. Time to offer them up to those who might appreciate them more.

All are $1.50, most are in great "new from the lab" condition, but some aren't. Almost all of them are full, with none that are less than 1/2 full. If you have any specific concerns please ask, I'll be sure to let you know.

Shipping will be $4, and thanks to Canada Post that probably won't cover it, but oh well. Due to the cost of shipping, please purchase more than two imps to make it worthwhile for both of us. Alternatively, you could buy the whole lot for a discounted price of $30! What a deal! (3 imps free at that price but I frimp too so who knows what you'll get!)

Now for the list:

Aureus: True, perfect golden light, refined into an incomparably glorious scent.
Bastet: Luxuriant amber, warm Egyptian musk, fierce saffron and soft myrrh, almond, cardamom and golden lotus.
Delirium: A contrary, conflicted scent, bubbling with merry madness. Contains apple, rose, and lemon.
Desdemona: Innocent, soft and pure: sweet pea, carnation and water lily.
Forbidden Fruit: The fresh scent of lotus hidden behind lightly scented flowers, amber, and citrus.
Golden Priapus: A truly carnal, energetic men's blend: vanilla and amber with juniper, rosewood and white pine.
Hellcat: A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond.
Jailbait: (x2) Sticky pink bubblegum and the thick, sweet scent of orange and cherry lollipops smeared over a breath of heady womanly perfume.
Jezebel: A gloriously decadent blend of honey, roses, orange blossom and sandalwood.
New Orleans (x2): Reminiscent of hothouse blooms on a humid night, ripe, but touched with decay. Sweet honeysuckle and jasmine with a hint of lemon and spice.
Oya: Oya's ofrenda is a Nigerian potion of love and war, sweetened by darkest plum.
Pain: Wicked and vicious! A sharp, cruel blend of lavender and pennyroyal.
Phobos: Chilling white musk, lemon verbena, white grapefruit and lemongrass.
Rapunzel: Angel's trumpet, bois de rose, orris, and wild lettuce.
Roses, Pearls, and Diamonds: Red roses, dazzling crystalline musks, and pearlescent coconut-tinged orris.
Sacred ***** of Babylon: An ancient formula that inspires unrepentant decadence, lechery and debauch.
Schrodinger's Cat: A paradoxical scent experiment! — tangerine, sugared lime, pink grapefruit, oakmoss, lavender, zdravetz, and chocolate peppermint.
Seraglio: Sweet almond and Mysor sandalwood enveloped by a heady veil of Bulgarian Rose, neroli, nutmeg, clove and orange peel.
Spellbound: An irresistibly sexual, utterly rapturous blend of three roses, radiant amber, and sensual red musk.
The Apothecary: Tea leaf with three mosses, green grass, a medley of herbal notes, and a drop of ginger and fig.
Whip: Agony and ecstasy: black leather and damp red rose.
