I just have to say this cause I'm super happy.
The birds love their new cage! Other than the fact we will have to replace the dowl tree in the middle of it with a harder wood (my fault, no soft wood! It's not expensive at all anyways) the birds are very much happier in their new cage.
It's got a ton more room, so they are actually able to spread out.
And get this, they started flying around it! It's almost like the babies (who unfortunately where forced to live in separate cages until now) are learning how to fly better. They zoom around the cage from top to bottom, side to side, and in circles around the tree going up all day long. It's so fun to watch! I'll have to get a video of it next time!
I also got them a few new toys, some perches (two mineral/calcium perches and one calcium perch) and they are finally starting to play with the new toy. It looks like this:
The one on the right, they love it now! They swing on it, chew it, and just climb all over it. yay! lol
