Thank you all for your replys and clearing things up for me. I was beginning to think people on here thought I was being mean to my dog. I know she is 14 weeks old and needs obedience classes.
My hubby and I are no spring chickens and have thought that maybe we have taken on a little more than we can handle. We are considering giving her up to a home with people who know labs and can handle them easier than us .
A lot of people in this part of the country have them and many want one . We had considered a smaller dog before but both of us loved the labs from our childhood. Actually I was going to try and get a smaller more mature dog when we first started thinking of a dog.
