Most of bear's blankets and other assorted winter clothes have worn out, his blankets belly straps are coming off at the stitching (granted they are like ... over 10 years old LOL) and he has hardly any sweaters anymore. He needs something to go UNDER his blankets because he is such a wuss about the cold (like his mom!!!) so I would prefer to have something kind of like doggie long johns but I haven't had any luck with finding anything on sites like petsmart and petco.

can you guys help me? I got a visa gift card (that I can use anywhere) for Christmas and I would like to buy him at least two new things with it (since they are starting to go on sale in my area ... since for us winter is already half over). But I don't know where to look :(

Check etsy for dog pyjamas, there are a wide variety of sizes. If your looking for a coat type thing check out fido fleece, Baxter boo has a good selection, and they are quick with shipping.

If you want simple horse blanket style coats, Jeffers has some nice ones for $10. :)

Dogdragoness, do you mind if I stick my head in and ask for recommendations, too? Sweaters, in particular.
I just didn't think I should start a new thread since this one is so close to what I wanted to ask. :)

Honestly look at the fido fleece! They are more like sweaters, but they do up down the back so they are very easy to put on and take off.

Somehow I missed that in your other post; they look great! The official site seems not to be selling them now? But regardless they're on a bunch of different sites so I have a lot of options with them. Good prices, too, compared to lots of sweaters.

I have a blue million places I like to order from. :) Personally, I like the Skinnies' flannel jammies the best, less static than fleece.

I use "doodlenecks" paired with Foggy Mt overcoats or Tough-1 coats

Ooh, I like how that fits the neck. I worry about fitting for Fable because she has a deep chest and a scrawny little neck. Lucy was like that too and eventually she would get one of her legs through the neck hole and get stuck. So this is cool- it actually fits a sighthound!

For coats I prefer chilly dogs, because I don't have to use a liner and they cover the chest, I didn't mention them because they are pretty expensive.

These is an online pet store that is going out of business, she says she wont ship to the states, but if she has the coat you want I will have her drop it off with me and ship it out to you.

they can custom make them to any measurements you need, just give them a call. great ladies, super duper nice. i have them do custom for me because my dogs are deep in the chest and neck and need the arm holes placed in a certain way, and they get it right every time. i like this style becase it covers the chest and belly and most strap on coats leave gaps there
