Following on from the where's home thread, I said I would get some house pics 
I may have mentioned once or twice that the interior of my house is a little retro
Well, we got new carpets and a new sofa. And wow. Such a difference!! Most of the house will be recarpeted, all the same colour. Except the kitchen and adjoining room, that will be done in slate effect vinyl (we call one room the dog room, and it's where they spend most of the time in the day so will be great to get rid of that carpet!!
Anyway.

Ahhhhhh serene! Well... Apart from the curtains and bedside tables. Small details!
And I think I'm in the wrong house..!!
We bought the furniture second hand, was pretty cheap!! Eventually that room will be knocked through into the other room. And the 70s electric fire will be a log burning stove! Eventually....
