As some of you will know I have been looking for the perfect dog for my dad's next hunting dog, we have always had Springers in the past, but for Wild Boar it is too risky to take such a small dog!

Well fate seems to have had a hand in the proceedings! lol! I was talking to a friend about wanting a pup and she said that her friend has just had Beagle Harrier puppies! And she asked me if I wanted one?!! They are good working dogs from good lines and the parent dogs are seasoned hunters! :D

I am going to have a look at the pups at the weekend! wish me luck! :D

Here's a bit about them!

I've never heard of that breed before. It's a nice looking dog. I have a feeling you will fall in love when you see those puppies. What a great present for your dad.

Thanks Barb! I think I will be coming home with a pup before long! lol! We have always trained our gun dogs together and it's a case of good cop bad cop! Dad is the nicey nicey good cop that would let the dogs get away with murder and spoils them and I have to be bad cop! I have to train them, discipline them, clean up after them and then dad just goes out onto the hunting field and gets all the praise for how well his dogs do! lol! I get to spend all the time with them when they are little pups though so I think I get the best deal! lol! :D
