Hello
My 4 month old Boxer will not stop pooping in his crate. If he's in the crate for 45 minutes....he poops in it. If he's in for 4 hours, he does the same.

He's a great dog who goes all night without going. At this point I'm so fed up with having to scrub the crate and him every single day.

I'm told it's seperation anxiety but what can I do about it??

I make sure he goes outside to go b4 I put him in his crate....I feel like I can't leave.

Should I set up baby gates for him in the kitchen while Im gone??

Any advice is appreciated.

Im gone for anywhere between 4-6 hours. I do everything I can to get home during the day but not always possible. Today I can home after only a few hours and it was a mess.

When we changed our schedules we had issues with Charlie starting to poop in the house. I now take an extra 30 minutes in the morning to make sure he eats and gets plenty of time outside to take have a poo. Now we have no further issues.

I am wondering if it could be seperation anxiety in your case?
Does he poo, you leave and then find poo in the crate? How long does he eat before being put in the crate?
