I'm about to give Maggie her first bath. It's been 10 days since she was spayed.. I figured that was long enough since her incision looks great. And the snow thawed today so she got a bit muddy having fun outside so I figured it was time. I bought some Earthbath Mango Tango today too.

We'll see how this goes..... :p

Well I also have a pretty large Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever and I do not like bathing them inside my tub. I found this great product while trying to find new ways to easily bathe my little monsters. It is called the Booster Bath. I found it online when searching for dog bathing tips. You can find it at www.boosterbath.com. It has worked wonders. I no longer have to fight with my dogs to bathe them. THEY LOVE IT! This company also offers a product called the Tropic Shower. It is good for when it is a little cold outside. It hooks up to your washing area and you can still use your washing machine.

1) I cant bathe them in my tub cause its to small, where should I bath them?
2) Its winter but its not to terribly cold so could I bathe them outside?
3) Is it safe to blow-dry them with a regular blow-dry or should I get one of those fancy doggy ones?

1)We don't have a tub but i normally bathe mine outside. Though because of the cold I would just Fill up a couple of buckets of water and wash them in your shower.
2)This one. Well i don't know QLD Australia dosn't get that cold so im no one to judge that.
3)I think a normal blow dryer would be fine. I have done it. Though not to hot and keep it moving so not to burn them. If they don't like it though I would just stop straight away.

Dakotah, it is too cold for bathing outside.

I'll give you a little hint... baby wipes. I wipe Kona with one once a day and it keeps her clean and smelling baby butt fresh!

I totally agree with you... specially the baby wipes... its really handy specially in emergency situations or when you just need to remove some dirt in their fur...
