    Great pics, I love it when dogs roll around in the grass like that...it just looks like they have sooo much fun :)

    That second pic is cracking me up - he's like "Oh yes, I am so handsome *pose pose*"

    I would never have thought he looked any different if you didn't post anything for comparison XD

    Ares doesn't want anyone to know that he huggles. ;)

    He does get quite proud. :D

    The comparison is actually because he has stopped many old timers in their tracks and they comment on how he looks like a corgi from the 30's ~ the picture is of a corgi from the 30's (or 40's).

    This would be what they look like now. Note the much shorter and thicker leg and more coat. The head shape is a bit different also.

    And yes, he does love to roll. The smellier the better. :p

    I really like Ares! The doe-eyed teddybear look of the show corgis is cute, but Ares is a really sturdy, athletic looking boy.
