One person dogs? Just curious. I have seen information saying that they may be protective of their "favorite" person, but I am wondering if they are typically one-person dogs?

Mine all tend to be one person dogs when it comes to obed..but most all love everyone. Dekka is very one person dog-no else exists but me (unless you have food that is) They can be very possessive in general.

Milo...he likes everyone, gets along with most people, will spend time with other people, but he's definately sort of a one person dog. Like he'll go sit near someone else, but if i leave, he follows, whereas if the person he's with leaves, he'll just come lay near me.

Mine loves all the people in his life, all our relatives and such... but he's a 2 person dog - my hubby and me. He alternates daily (sometimes hourly!) between which one of us is his 'favourite', but he totally adores and respects both of us equally. If we both call him from separate sides of the room, he can't decide who to go to at all. We both took him through his obedience classes though, so that might explain it a bit.

The ones I know definitely are. They love everyone, especially their family, but they have their own 'special' people who they are utterly devoted to.

My cousin owns one. He has to be the friendliest dog in the world. First time I met him he jumped into my lap for some lovins. He is very much HER dog though, if that makes sense. He gets along with others great but adores his owner.
