If so, is there another service you like better? I love Pandora and have streaming set to music like Starkillers, Benassi Bros, Lords of Acid, Deadmau5, Zombie Girl etc (you get the drift :) Wondering if there is another free service out there that is comparable or better?

I really like Spotify. I haven't bothered to check if there are channels, though. :p It's basically a huge music library, you can create your own playlists, share them on facebook, so on so forth. It's downloadable, too.

    Here's the info:

    http://www.spotify.com/us/about/features/

ETA: Yep, according to that page they have channels like Pandora.

On a related note, what earphones are you using? I've got Skullcandy.

I used to have Skullcandy, but they kept zapping out on me. It was highly annoying after a while. I have Plugz, now, and they haven't shorted out on me yet.

I like Pandora and Spotify. I can't get either in Mexico, so when I'm in Mexico I use Grooveshark - which doesn't really do music reccomendation but allows you to make your own playlist.

I use skullcandy earbuds for my ipod. On the PC, I use razer carcharias headphones and I love them. Super comfortable for over-the-ear and the sound is really good for a decent price. I think you could get the same quality for cheaper, though - I bought them because I wanted the attached microphone.

I use Pandora, and I recently got hooked on 8 Tracks. It has playlists created by other members, and can be fun. Lots of great covers, acoustic versions (sounds like that isn't so much your cup of tea as it is mine :p), along with normal versions. I've gotten really hooked on a few new artists I've found there.
