Anybody know where VFFs may be on sale for cheap right now?

I have been walking to school (and other palces) since I don't have a car now, and I noticed on Saturday that I had apparently walked a hole through the sole of my poor KSOs I'm still wearing them because, well, I'm used to being barefoot and shoes are just a formality required by school, but I have some labs coming up out in the field and they involve slogging through rivers, lakes, creeks, and ponds, and I'd really like intact VFFs for that. I prefer something along the lines of the KSO or Flow or something with the original style sole...but I am sort of desperate >.<

I know the feeling - though my VFF want is purely cosmetic and stupid... but I'm DYING to find a pair of purple Speeds, size 40. Can't find them for under $99 though, and I'm uncharacteristically bummed out about it. It's been bothering me for WEEKS.

REI Garage Sales should be starting up in Sept/Oct for those with one within driving distance as well.... I'm insanely excited for ours, which is usually late October.
