last year i had my big woopie idea to have a First EVer Chazhound ART gallery show. It was open to everyone to celebrate our love for CAnines on The first day of the YEAR OF THE DOG. Some people actually participated and i was very proud of them and thought their art awesome. I made the painting i am about to donate to ARTS UNLEASED. So a new year is coming and i am going to try a second time.

we could do a theme LIke My dog.. dogs.. shelter dogs...ideas?
we could just let it be anything a person wants to do
we could all take a drawing then divide it, one page style, do a college when we put it all back together, i saw that once done with the STatue of LIberty and it soooooo rocked. If it is anything i am going to shoot for a painting of Rainbow's bridge. I have been thinking on that for awhile but i could do something else too..it's all up to you. and let me know if your going to participate and what would be a good date.

last time i posted this about 6 months before the show.

Just because I tend to photograph things, shelter dogs might be a bit of a stretch for me. However if that's the theme, I'll see what I can come up with which doesn't involve sending Jake to the pound....or at least, not for long :D (jk).

Other themes could be based around activities like hiking or sports of some sort - whether it be recreational or competative.

Any way you slice it, count me in! :)

Jess all you do is create some kind of artwork (such as: a painting, a drawing, a picture, etc...if your unsure what is consideered art just ask! Even if your not realy great at it it's still great to enter!) and you put the picture in the thread for the art gallery show. Basically you draw/paint/etc and post! Then later, if you wish, you can donate your piece to a worthy cause :)

lol smkie :p sorry, I'm just excited! :) I love the art show thing :p For a date how about somewhere in Janruary? That's after christmas and gives people a few months. Maybe the middle or later end of janruary that way it gives them a few weeks after christmas to finish up what's needed.

You're really not slow....you just take your time to make such wonderful master pieces! That's probably one of the many reasons I'm no where near as good as you :p lol

what about my canine valentine. valentines for Canines, Hearts and Paws....Pawprints on my Heart...that way it could include everything that anyone wants to do, from Andrew's walks to BBLUES shelter babies.
Still open for ideas, just playing with this one..will have a poll for the final selection.

I'd really like to participate.

Since I've been meaning to draw my dogs for a while, any theme that would allow me to incorporate them would be wonderful.
