My bf's yorkie can't be left alone. If anyone leaves the front door he will sit there and cry. If his 3 favorite mommy's leave it's even worse. Now he cries and barks when we come back. It's so annoying that he cries from anxiety. Besides that problem he is the best dog. He is so so so calm as a 6 month baby. He walks really good. As a matter fact he doesn't really like to walk too much. He is so lay back and kick back.

I think Eddy is such a baby. His mommies don't really leave the house too much so he grew up with 3 mommies at home all the time. Now 1st mommy likes to go out alot more and then 2nd mommy and 3rd mommy needs to go out to buy their own stuff he goes crazy. He cries and cries. He still cries when he see us come back home. I think it's his way of saying "where have you been?" We took him to the groomers the 2nd time and they told us that he was really bad and could not stay still that they didn't touch his face because they were afraid that they might hurt him if he moves.

my yorkie

My yorkie is 18 months old and when one of us leaves, he has a fit!! He starts to bark, spins in circles and is almost hysterical by the time we get out. If the other one wishes to leave later on, he doesn't even get off the sofa, as though he could care less. He even does this if the both of us are not leaving but a visitor starts out the door. Also when we go in the car just one of us and the dog, he lays down and rides beautifully. If we both go with him he whines, cries jumps around and gets hysterical again for 15 or 20 minutes. We take him in the store and he pulls on the leash with his teeth and whines and yelps like we are killing him. What is it with this little psycho? Any ideas?

Exercise, discipline, then affection.
Dogs develop behavior problems and anxiety when we spoil them. Add some structure and positive training to his life. Read the link on seperation anxiety that was provided also.

Thank you for the input. I take him for at least 5 walks a day amounting to approx. 3 miles. We make him sit toput on his leash and take it off. He doesn't wet in the house or destroy anything when we are gone. I don't know what else to do.
