I swear, they are going to have to give Morgan and I our own office there soon! LOL!

Anyways, this trip was nothing major. Morgan has another mild ear infection (the first was back in the beginning of November), and I just wanted to get it checked out. I still have meds leftover from the last round, and the doctor said those would still be okay to use this time. Plus, she gave me an 8oz bottle of ear cleaner (can't remember what it's called off the top of my head) to start using weekly once the infection is gone.

Oy, poor Morgan, he probably thinks the vet is his second home by now. :rofl1: Honestly, though, he loves his doctor. I wouldn't say he's happy to be at the vet's office, but he's usually pretty cheery around the doctors.

I did also want to brag on him a little bit. We pulled into the parking lot and he walked into the lobby with no issues. Actually, I accidentally dropped his leash on the way in the door, but he still just followed me in until I could rearrange the things I was carrying so I could pick the leash up again. He impressed the receptionists by walking right up to the scale and sitting on it without any fuss. :D During his appointment, he offered to shake hands with the vet tech first thing without any prompting. (SO CUTE!) He was a little nervous when they started looking in his ears and checking his surgery scar, but he let them do everything no problem. When they took his leash to lead him into the back to swab/clean his ears, he went right with them easily. I don't know what he did, but I could hear everybody laughing through the door, and when they brought him back he was grinning like an idiot, so I guess he was pretty proud of himself too. :p At least, I think he was... if dogs think that way. Back in the lobby, another dog owner in the waiting area offered to hold his leash while I put my coat on, and Morgan was more than happy to be loved on for a few minutes again. Goofy boy. Even so, everybody loves him, and that's a good feeling.

So yeah, vet visits are a bummer, but at the same time, it's really nice to get praise and compliments on how well trained your dog is. It feels good to realize that maybe I haven't done so bad by him after all. :D
