I decided on a whim to take all three dogs to the provincial park near my house this afternoon. It was really nice out and I was tired of just sitting in the yard, so off we went for a few hours. Ripley discovered that he actually can swim, although he still isn't very good at it. But at least he didn't sink this time. And he also discovered the joys of leaping off the creek bank into the water. Dance did it once (for the first time ever, and only once) and after she did it he was pretty sure that was definitely the best way to fetch the toy from then on, haha. Keira, as usual, just hung with me and watched the other two play. She cooled off in the water a couple times but she's too prissy for such fun and games. Anyhow, it was a really great afternoon. It was the first time I took all three by myself there (because I have to take the train to get there) and they were all perfect. :)

A lot more coming!

Quite possibly the funniest and most unflattering picture of Keira ever, haha.

Uh oh! He went in a little too deep for comfort and almost had to swim. But he lived, even if he thought he might not for a sec!

He made it!

Oops! Went too far again..

I wish this was framed better but I wasn't expecting it at all as she's never jumped in before. But I had to keep it, since it was a first (and so far only).

Still some more!

His first jump!

And another...

And relaxing when we got home...

Done! Sorry for so many. It was hard to choose.

Wow... how do you take SO many amazing pictures? I can't choose a favorite. ^_^ They all look so happy, and wet and dirty. Especially Dance! I'm going to the lake tomorrow because this looks like so much fun.

Ripley's dives are breath-taking!!! What an athletic boy!

I looove the last picture. 2 of the cutest Dobies on earth.

Just luck! My camera makes me so mad sometimes because it has focus issues, but today was a good day.

And yes, it's always fun! I love taking the three of them out for walks, especially in that park. They're such a great trio and the park is beautiful. And huge. I could hike through there all day... and want to someday. It's ginormous.

You just walk on the train with them?

Looks like they had a blast!
Sure do! I have to pay for them, so when people complain rudely I just tell them that they're paid for and have every right to be there. Usually I just get strange looks, though. Not many people say anything. And they're all so perfectly behaved so they have no right to comment meanly about them.

Thank you!

Lovely pics! I love how feminine Keira looks and how masculine Ripley looks. I also quite like Keira's crop.

And that is SO cool that you can take them on the train! I wish we could do that here :(

You have some seriously stunning pictures there! I wish I lived near a national park, we have a lot of trails here but no really large areas to hike about in, most trails are doable in just a couple of hours.

Dance is sosososo cute.

Ripley are Keira are lovely too, of course. But Dance is my favourite. We should have a dog park play date soon. Let me know if you have any weekends off!

FANTASTIC pictures! I really enjoyed looking through them and what a gorgeous spot to take them! I think it's really neat that you can take all three on the train too :)

So many great pictures--but of course the subject matter is fabulous. I too, love how feminine Kiera is, and how masculine Ripley is. What a neat crew you have.
