Obviously my favorite part of the Florida trip. I must be easily satisfied, because I had a bunch of people tell me the park wasn't any good. I personally loved it!

What blows my mind about this set of pictures is that every one was taken from a very bouncy, always moving vehicle. I was a bit annoyed that they didn't stop the safari ride at all for photos, but very impressed by how well the camera (or lens, I guess) dealt with it. These were my favorite of the bunch.

Baby Giraffe - I think they said he was about 5 months old.

I want a pet teacup giraffe for my birthday this year. They are my favorite animal anyway, and this just made me love them more.

Not a great shot, but the only one I got of the male lion, as I was on the wrong side of the vehicle.

The next round of photos was from walking parts.

My nephew, planning our day while we waited in line for the park to open.

I didn't realize every photo of the bats I took was so...pornographic. At least I'm assuming that's what that is.

About the only photo I took where my zoom wasn't fully extended - this tiger came right up to the glass!

This was actually at our hotel. The ducks would come right up to the rooms looking for handouts. I don't know why this picture cracks me up so much, because nobody else found it funny, but it makes me laugh every time.

Of course, we never gave in to their demands for food.

Thank you! Glad to have some back up. I showed it to my brother, and he was like, "Yeah, that's a duck all right."

Boy, that is one cooperative SO you've got there. "Honey, come here, take your pants off, and stand on your head. I want to see if you look like a fruit bat."

And it wasn't just "that" that disturbs me a bit about the pictures. Check out the tongue action. Please don't ask your other to demo that, okay? Or if you do, you can just keep that private.

Thanks! I almost never get to see animals like that - not a lot of zoos in the northeast. I'm hoping to go visit my brother and his family in the next few months, depending on how the job hunting goes. They apparently have an amazing zoo near them.

Animal Kingdom was my favorite Disney park too! They had this Lion King show when I was there (10 years ago) that was fantastic. Great pics
