I know this is not for rescues but this is desperation here. Two days is all that is left.

that is so sad. i hope you find andy a home :(
Thanks he is so sad looking it just ripped at my heart. If I could get him from Texas to me I would take him in a second but I can't. So maybe if I keep it out there someone will at the very least foster him.

Oh, God... please don't do this... we could consume the whole board all day long with these kinds of posts. I network locally with 100's of people via e-mail. Out of maybe 25 posts I'll place 3. That gives me so much satisfaction that I made a tiny little dent...

Nope I won't do that this paticular guy got to me but I will keep all rescues under rescue. This guy just broke my heart and the more people who know the more chance he has.

The problem now is the original owner is refusing to return phone calls because we have all banded together to get this guy into a kennel to be boarded until he finds a home. But he just can't be bothered phoning back or emailing so someone who is ready, willing and able to go get him, can actually pick him up. What is wrong with people?

Ok this can be removed now Andy has been adopted by his petsitter. That is why the original owner never bothered to call back because he had been adopted. YEAH

Okay. I can breathe again. I've had a blind dog (O'Reilly, the Aussie) and dogs with these handicaps just aren't that difficult to work with. Their senses are so much better adapted than ours. Being taken by someone who knows him will be much easier on Andy than a stranger too. Happily ever after . . . :D
