AMC: Just pure awesomeness?

Well, after getting super into Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead Hubby and I were joking that AMC has just quit playing American movie classics and just started making awesome shows. Last night I was bored and making some banners on my cricut (I like to watch shows while I do this). So I checked out netflix and before I knew it I was 6 episodes into "The Killing". I was all 'Man, this is a good show. It almost has that awesome AMC show feel.' Well, whadaya know? http://www.amctv.com/shows/the-killing

You know one thing I like about their shows? They cast average looking people. No one looks like a celeb. It makes for a very real feel. It does make looking at naked Walt in every episode a bit less pleasant, but real none-the-less.

I'm so afraid nothing can top Breaking Bad for me now, LOL. I mean, I LOVE Walking Dead and thought/still do think it's amazing. But honestly? BB is sooo much better IMO. So I'm concerned I'm going to constantly be all like "well, it's still not as good as BB" now... lol.

Once I'm through season 4 of BB, I think I'm going to start Mad Men though.

But yeah I do agree that AMC is amazing. I'll have to check out the show you're watching.
