Im just wondering why most people are allergic to cats rather than dogs. I saw an ad something with cat and asthma.

From what my doc told me, people are mostly allergic to their saliva, but they wash a lot so it goes all over them. As dogs don't lick themselves half as much, it would explain it.

I tend to have a problem with outdoor cats only. Not sure why that is, but my eyes itch and water like I've been moving bales of hay!

Okay I think that makes since. I never thought about I was allergic to their saliva. I did get grossed out the fact the they lick they self so often and they don't get bath so often.
