It would be nearly impossible to choose, lol!

I don't think you could stand to see Luke listed ;)

Renee, I found out yesterday that Luke IS listed.

I mean, I don't believe she's actually taking applications yet on him, but I think she has him listed so that she doesn't have to do all that listing work if we decide he's not a keeper.

No, I cannot find his listing because Petfinder is a bitch.
But someone on facebook told me that they looked up "dog/Amstaff/Chicago/young" and he popped up. She has him listed on the website, though.

Probably better if you DON'T see him on Petfinder ;)

Wow. The listing is rather accurate except for the "Fabulously healthy" part.
He's not. He's still recovering from KC and being treated for round worms.
BUT! that's why I'm wondering if she's not taking applications on him because by the time he WILL be available for adoption, he WILL be fabulously healthy.

Even if she IS getting applications on him, you have to understand, they get SOOOOOOOOO many applications daily on different dogs.
But the majority of applicants do not meet the rescue requirements.

Like, one of the questions on the application is "how long will the dog be left unsupervised in your yard?"
And people will say stuff like, "Only half of the day while I'm at work." or, "Only a couple hours."
But the answer they're looking for is "Never."
Because that's what I put. My dogs are NEVER unsupervised out in the yard.
    ESPECIALLY a pit bull.

    And what friend?
That is the rescue I am fostering for, yes.:)

I'm sorry about the sad face, if you thought it meant anything other than it made me a little sad. While I'd love to see him stay with you so we can have lots of Luke pics, I didn't mean in any way to imply that you should do anything that you're not 1000% comfortable with. I wouldn't be able to have 2 pittie puppies! :lol-sign:

And I just asked about the rescue because I liked the site. ;) I thought you had a friend who was heavily involved in a Chicagoland rescue and was wondering if this was the one.

    oh!!!
I didn't mean my post to sound snotty.
    I was in a hurry when I posted. :)
    I got confused.
Yes, that is the rescue my friend is heavily involved with.:)

We *probably* will end up keeping him, but it's not with 100% certainty just yet.
