Good evening all from Maine! Snickers here hoping all you humans and beautiful dogs are doing grrrrreat! I am a big loveable Saint Bernard and my mommy rescued me a while back and brought me to live with her in my forever home! Hopefully I can fit in here and meet some new friends! Now I am pretty well behaved except that I have a small confession: I am a total shoe monster! I absolutely LOVE new nikes and Reeboks! All the humans know that if you wear your tasty new nike airs or chewy new Reeboks in my house, they are fair game and I will eat them all up for dessert!!!!
So mommy goes to work in the afternoon and my doggysitter Kristen comes over after school to watch me. Well, today was pretty normal. Mommy leaves and a short time after Kristen arrives to watch me and do her homework and watch tv:
Well, as she came thru the door, My nose caught a whiff of something heavenly scrumptious: Kristen's new purple reeboks - AND fresh from the gym! I immediately made a dash right from the couch toward them:
I chased Kristen around the couch several times until she finally gave up and let me have a taste. Well, it didn't take me long to chew them both right off her feet!
I just LOVED the soft leather toes and insoles and went totally bonkers with them! As Kristen tried to get them back, I grabbed them in my mouth and ran out into the back yard area:
No matter how hard she tried, she could not get them from me. I would run around with them in my mouth, playing keep away. Finally I settled down in the grass to spend some quality alone time with her yummy new purple reeboks. After a while, Kristen went to check on me:
Those new reeboks were soooooo chewy and delicious! I got them good and slimy and slobbery and they squeaked as I chewed them. I growled and snorted while I ate them all up like a big hungry monster. I was almost ready to eat them all up for dessert when Kristen called me over and said it was time for her to leave. She finally wrestled her squishy slobber filled Reeboks out of my mouth, slid her feet into them and left. Hmmphf! Well, All evening I have been dreaming about those yummy Reeboks! I am craving them so hungrily right now and just can’t wait for Kristen to doggysit again tomorrow afternoon!!!!!
