Just for fun. :)

Really an excuse for me to show off beautiful Abby. :D

And a fairly awful photo of me with Abby to demonstrate her size.

And just one more... coz she's cute...

I agree, she's precious!
^ Thanks guys! She is precious indeed.

She definitely is a spunky little mite. There is attitude there for sure - maybe not a full on terrier-like tenaciousness, but there is certainly a spark there. A little bit full of herself.

She has a longer muzzle than many chis I typically see and she is bigger and more solidly built. She is actually a very strong little dog - I've never been worried about her being too fragile and we do a lot of physical activity.

I realise that she's not a purebred or even a well-bred dog (and the photos probably don't really reveal too much), but does she look like a decently put together dog in general conformation? I have nearly no knowledge in that area. I'll probably have to get better pics for that purpose though.

Many, many chihuahuas do a lot of physical activity and are not fragile. As far as her being bigger and more solidly built, I think you usually see chihuahuas that are bred to be as small as possible ;)

Yes, that's probably what I have in mind. Come to think of it, I'm sure most of them are not particularly fragile lol.

She could be mixed with something, but she really does look just like a long haired Chi. Not of "show" type, but nothing wrong with that. She's very cute!

She looks like a BYB chihuahua to me. There is just such a HUGE variety of chihuahuas and chi mixes out there. Whatever, she's adorable!

I agree she looks like a pure yet out-of-standard chi.

How big is she?

I could maybe see some sort of Pom or other small spitz mixed in, but I think chi is a pretty good assumption.

She looks like a long coated chihuahua to me- just larger and with less of an apple domed head. She's so pretty- I love her big brown eyes and her coat!

Chihuahuas actually should be far from fragile. Mine can climb, jump, hike, swim, etc, etc, and are the farthest thing from fragile.
