Jim had just gotten out of the shower and was getting ready to lay down for bed. I asked him not to get comfy in my spot. Red was laying in the middle of Jims spot so he told him to move that he wasnt in the mood for his crap...ok he didnt say crap but you get the drift. This has been a struggle for Jim as Red always kicks him out of his spot at night. So what does Red do?? He gets up like he is getting off the bed and lays down on Jims pillows and looks at him like WHAT NOW? Jim on his knees ready to get into his spot starts flipping Red off asking him if he knows what the middle finger means. Red looked at him like SO? Whatcha gunna do big baby?!!!
Guess who won? Yes you guessed it Red did. I laughed so hard. The expression on Reds face was priceless!
You know what happens when mom comes to bed? Red goes to the bottom of the bed in a corner....That is untill I go to sleep. Then he slinks his way up and pushes Jim out of the way. This morning Jim woke up at the bottom of the bed...In the corner where Red is suppose to sleep and I was cuddling with Red.
Poor Jim Cant even sleep in his own bed.:D
Thought I might share a typical evening at our home at bed time:)

ROFLMAO :) :)
That is sooooo funny! I love how Jim ends up in Red's spot.
Tira and Gunner will both jump on the bed as soon as we say "c'mon, night-night time". Tira (if someone is already in the bed) will lay with her butt facing you and her head at the foot of the bed while Gunner will lay right up beside you or with parts laying on you. If we call Tira to the head of the bed to say 'good night' she'll lay on whoever's pillow is available. However, the second you say "ok babies, time to go to bed" she will immediately jump off and go lay on her love seat in their room. Gunner will usually get down either right away or with a little coaxing. Sometimes manual labor is needed to get him down. :)
I wish I had a story like yours! I don't think Tony would be as easy going as Jim was. Tony'd kick 'em out of the room if they took his snuggle spot. LOL

Once in awhile Red will go lay on the couch.
The other dogs sleep on the floor or with the kids.
Poor poor Jim. Although he laughs about it too.:D

Jim's a real dog lover :D

He must be!!!

Every once in awhile my hubby has to go out of town for work. The dogs are in heaven! We have a king size bed and the most that have slept with me at once was 4. And all Rottweilers at that! Excluding my weight, that is 400 pounds of dogs all cuddled together with mama. My prospects of ever having a baby (human) are getting more and more unrealistic. :p

On a normal night we have one that sneaks very slowly up between us and will sleep on his back with his head on a pillow. It is just too cute. And then as soon as the alarm goes off he is in the perfect spot to lick us all over our faces. :)
