I'm finally home for the summer! My little car made it the whole thirteen hours, even with a disassembled Honda motorcycle, a fish, a guitar, and a homicidal Tokay gecko in the back.

So, to celebrate the fact that I didn't roll into a ditch and subsequently get eaten by my various critters, I took Bailey for an adventure in the state park that is situated at the edge of our property. It is so nice to see the sky again! I love Maine, but the tree-dominant canopy is claustrophobic sometimes!

Hurrrr durrrr

He got a little chubby while I was gone...time to get back to work, little pig dog!

Chasing bullfrogs (it boosts his self-esteem after coon hunting I think...heehee)

The aftermath

I missed my puppies! =)

Thanks, all! He's a hot ticket for sure...and after hunting with coonhounds all during the semester it's a big adjustment. This dog has GO haha.

And, Teal, here ya go! She's just a little baby! Her name is Capo =) I picked her up wild caught from a local kid and recently moved her into a giant tank that's perfectly suited for a little angry gecko. She invariably draws blood when she bites, and spends most of her time plotting on how to escape and set fire to the house.

What a handsome handsome boy! I love the picture of him staring up at you with love in his eyes.

I have to say, Boone (MyHorseMyRules's 'Houla) has the most presence of a dog I've ever been around. They are a really really neat breed.
