A new hamster came home today :)

Got 'her' today, sneaked her home in the car. My sister has walked past the cage 6 times now and not noticed :taunt:

I don't know what sex it is yet, they are usually pretty obvious if they are male, but this one sure isn't. The guy said male, but at the moment, I see no evidence of it being male, so I am thinking female! It's quite scared at the moment, so I'll get a better look once I can pick it up.

I want to say she at the moment. And she is nameless at the moment, until I decide her sex!

She has come out of the box now!

She is precious!!!! I love hamsters. I've owned several of them, Syrians are the best! Hardly anyone in my area sells them anymore though.

Syrian's are the best I agree there! I love Quinn (my WW dwarf), but she doesn't enjoy being handled at all, and all my Syrian's having. This little one screams when my hand goes in the cage at the moment!

I had a Syrian like that, she was petrified when I first got her and would scream at me. I just kept working with her and she was SO sweet.

Well I think he is a Percy after all! That's OK, as I prefer males and did originally want a male. I'm going to get him out for handling tonight, as he's had 2 days to get used to the noises of our house and his new cage, he has stopped screaming now.

Yep, she noticed, although the first day she thought I'd just brought my other hamster Quinn into the other room

Aw, lol!!! Yeah, I once got two dwarf hamsters w/out my parents knowing (I was allowed to get them, but my parents weren't with me when I ended up finding the perfect ones) and I showed my mom, but my dad never even noticed for like two weeks, LOL!
