Meet Kala! She's 65lbs of adorable. She is a unsure of her surroundings right now, having just been moved out of the intake lines into the main lines. She can be a little standoffish at first, but she's a sweetheart once she warms up to you. One breed I think I see in her is husky, but I'm not sure what else is in there! She does have some bully-type features.

Thanks for your guesses. :)

This is going to sound weird, but the first thing that came to mind after husky, was shar pei.

Believe it or not, I've seen a couple of pure bred Siberians the same color. I agree, tho, she's definitely not purebred. The first breed that came to mind other than Husky is Rottweiler. This is going to sound really odd, but there is something about her head and ears that remind me a little of a Dogo Argentino.

I was thinking husky/PB or husky/rottie, leaning towards the first because of her size and the face. What a cutie, look at that smile!

She is a beautiful dog! WOW! I like her a lot!!

I would say Husky/Pit Bull as well! Husky because of her markings and color, and her head and expression just looks pit bull to me!

Husky and something.

But I think many are saying "pit bull" based on that first picture's head shot, and honestly I don't see it anywhere else.....coat, body structure, etc.

I think sometimes a single photo can be misleading.

That's why I thought shar pei when I saw it. Something about the shoulder and face. Not just the wrinkles either. I think in the frontal face shot she looks like she has a heavy muzzle, but in the shots that show other angles of her face, you can see her muzzle is actually pretty average with flappy lips. You see those same flappy lips with pei mixes.

You can also lose a LOT of wrinkles in an F1 pei cross. I went to church with a guy that had a chow/shar pei mix, he knew both parents and that they were purebred. She really had very few wrinkles. A little more than this dog, but not a whole lot. If you're starting with an older style bone mouthed dog, then you don't have a lot of wrinkles to begin with.
