I think me and the dogs have had one of the runs we have had in a while. I don't run the huskies with the chinooks simply because the Huskies are faster then th Chinooks and its not fair to ask to Chinooks to try and keep up with them. So I worked Huskies on an hour 1/2 run on the trails with short breaks in between. Tracker's my lead dog and worked well at getting the team going good and no one was hot after the run when we got home. I treated all theyr paws and rubbed them each down and gave them some love and then put them away for the day and got the Chinooks.

I only worked the Chinooks for an hour they still move fast just not as fast as a huskies. My chinook Noah is the lead for them and he worked well for me. I got them home and treated their paws and rubbed them down too and gave them some love lol.

I just figured i would share because im in a really good mood and I know certain people are interested in my dogs.

BTW here's all my Huskies names so you know who they are when I bring them up.

Yeah we have a good amount of snow for working the sled

When there's less snow i use either the wheel carts or four wheeler to work the dogs.

This is so interesting!

We've been talking about trying Shiva with some weight pulling to build up her self confidence and give her something of her very own to do.

lol you should definatly try it just work with her slowly getting her used to the equipment and stuff.

When im training my dogs to pull i start with hay bails so if the dog freaks out no one gets hurt.

ROFL! You should see our hay bales - we feed the big round ones that weigh 800 pounds or more . . . and when Shiva bumps one - it moves!

(I know you're talking about the little rectangular bales, but the idea was just too funny!) :D
