Not my forté... Was in Chicago the weekend before Halloween, at Northwestern University, for a fencing tournament. Got there in time to do some sightseeing...

A marina north of the university, there was a storm rolling in off the lake.

The beach area at Northwestern University - it's closed for the season but nobody told the seagulls...

Just for fun... There was an art center up the road from the university. I have yet to get a decent photo of the house, which is really awesome; but this exhibit was in the front yard. Yes, we went all the way to Chicago to kick the bucket...

This was on the way home from Chicago. Didn't realize there were wind turbines along the highway, those things are huge! Stopped to get some pics as the sun was coming up.

Just a few more...

This is a brick... really. Construction workers at the turn of the century would dump their debris in Lake Michigan and after a hundred years, this is the result...

Okay, so these aren't landscapes... It's leaf burning time around our house and we're so easily amused...

That's it! Hope you enjoyed!
