I just wanted to share a few pictures I took of a dog named Dante today. He's a Brussels Griffon/Pug mix that belongs to my mom's co-worker and she wanted me to groom him for her... I was a little worried, having never done a dog with his coat type before. He was so good though! He's never been groomed by anyone before, and he was just perfect. He did everything asked of him and was very cooperative. After I was finished with him, since his owner wasn't able to come pick him up right away, I decided to take some Christmas pictures of him for her. He has such a wonderful personality, and a great temperament. Nothing phased him at all.

That's all!

Smexy, he's just one of those dogs who always looks a little grumpy naturally. He's not though, and he didn't care about the pictures one bit. He'll do absolutely anything for food without complaint!

Toller, what kinda lighting are you using for your shots? are you using the camera flash, and if you is it a flash gun pointed somewhere else (as in not straight on)
Cause they look so good! I wanna make Matisse-style crimbo cards aha.

I used no flash at all and a little desktop lamp kind of off to the side, with the light directed toward the dog/s. Some natural light was also used, as there was a window right beside my setup and we have sky lights. It was getting dark though, so there wasn't very much natural light.
