Just chased each other through the woods having a territorial spat right over Victor Pepper and my heads. We were standing still listening to them say each other's Mother wears army boots but I sure didnt' expect what came next. Theyy were so close I could see the pattern in their feathers and the barred owl was puffed up as big as he could make himself.
After that they saw us and it was silent. So up the path and into the clearing just in time to have a formation of geese go over so close you could hear the wind of their wings.
It feels good to breath because it is fresh moist from cool rain.
