Is that weight too skinny for a Lab puppy at that age? I don't know how much she weighs now, but she weighs more. lol, and her ribs aren't showing. And her hips are starting not to show too. Well, thank you for reading!

it sounds kind of lite but I'm not sure. I agree recent pictures from the side and from above would be good to see, mostly side pictures though.

Rechecking : you got her at 6 weeks and her weight was 8 #s ??? How old is she now ??? She should be going in for her shots soon , or you could stop by your vets and have her weighed . Judging from the breeder , she may have worms .

Ya, I think she does, because after she eats, she gets a HUMONGOUS belly.. She needs to go to the vet to be checked out, and I did see some white things in her poo at 6 weeks. I'm not seeing it now, so the wormer we got her, seems to be working. And she needs them this weekend.

My little lab/mutt mixie just weighed in at 6 lbs 1oz at his 7 week check-up, the vet said he was just fine. He was a bit of a runt from his litter though, he was given de-wormer, but he doesn't appear to have any worms. He's still a little skinny around the hip area, I'm sure he'll fill-up soon.

Our new 8 week old lab puppy weighed 11 pounds. So I think 8 pounds at 6 weeks should be fine. Our new puppy was tested and treated for worms the day after we got her last week. I would have never known that she had worms by looking at her poo, but after treating you definately could tell. All I could say is YUCK. I don't think I will be eating spaghetti for a LONG time. Definately not what I expected.

:lol-sign: yep, you can tell by their poo. ;) Good luck with your puppy!
