I took yesterday off. I hadn't slept for three days and I was just beat. I didn't want to half arse it through my workout so I just took it as my rest day. last night Hannah ended up in bed asleep by 7:15 and Brian and I were both asleep by shortly after 9:30. that is unheard of lol so you know we were all really tired.

229.6 this morning :D

Just did the Total Body 2 workout from 10 minute trainer. I love that workout. I'm a pool of sweat before I'm halfway through.

5 games in a tournament tomorrow, so I'll get plenty of exercise then, too.

Well I was seriously considering bagging off today but then Hannah says " mon when are you goin to do your workout" I couldn't very well tell her I wasn't going to do one lol. Held accountable by a 5 year old. So I just finished 45 minutes of shaun T's dance party

Go Hannah! I wish my kids did that. Jumping on the bed iwth them counts as a workout, right?

Huge milestone today. My skinny pants from pre pregnancy are actually TOO big. Not much but they have never gone on without some wiggling to get into them. They pulled on easy with no muffin top and a bit of room.

Now THAT's progress. Great job!

I had to buy a belt yesterday as the one I bought in February/March ran out of holes (too big). I also bought my first pair of 36 jean shorts. Looking through my stash, they are all 40, 42 and 44 (I even found a 46). I had two pair of 38 shorts that I can wear but they slide right on/off without undoing them.

I haven't worn 36 jeans since college. Even when I dropped a bunch of weight a few years ago, I never got below the 38's.

That is awesome! Something about clothing fitting feels a lot better than getting on a scale for me. Knowing I am rocking something that wasn't fitting or sitting right before makes me feel a way a scale never could.

Finished my workouts. 45 minutes of Rock it Out (with 2 lb weights in each hand AND I did all 60 pushups... on my knees but I still did them all lol) and 25 minutes of Party Express. I just submitted my rockin body challenge on the beachbody page. Can't wait for my T shirt

Gym tonight... alone, besides Deke. A little anxious, but I know I'll be alright. Probably just going to hang out on the bikes.

Deke rocked it, and I got in ten miles on the bike. Slow, but higher resistance than usual. :)

Workout buddy.

We went and did stairs yesterday. Why I agreed to it? I don't know, but it ended up being pretty fun and I did well =)

I was a bit sore this morning for class buy my calves had a date with the foam roller tonight and feel much better lol.

I just finished a workout with 3 circuits to complete (kind of like Chalene and her HIIT stuff LOL). I managed to do the first two circuits 3 times but the last one I could only pull off two sets. I was kind of hoping to throw in the 20 minute workout on Turbo Jam but I don't know if I have it in me now LOL. we'll see how I recover in the next few minutes :p

The circuits included

Circuit 1:

30 seconds of jogging (knees up high)

30 Jumping jacks (my feet kept going numb during the jacks... not sure whats up with that)

8 walk outs (you reach down to your toes and walk your hands out till you are in plank position and then walk back up)

10 burpees (or squat thrusts)

30 jacks

rest 1 minute

Circuit 2:

15 squats

5 jump squats

30 lunges alternating legs

30 Mountain climbers

30 second plank

Circuit 3

30 Jacks

24 squats with front kick alternating legs

10 burpees

YAY I finally used Map my run (it was actually walk lol). I did NOT do my Turbo Jam workout but Hannah wanted to go for a walk so we did. 1.22 miles... it took us 45 minutes because Hannah doesn't move quickly lol but it still counts :p

Got the bikes out today. Rode for about 30 minutes with the 12 year old, then she went in and I went on a hard 2.5 mile ride (12 minutes to cover those 2.5 miles - doesn't sound real fast, but I haven't ridden in a couple of years).

My thighs and butt will complain about that tomorrow  :D

There ended up being a nutrition seminar starting as I walked in, so I hung out there for a little while, ended up only getting 6 miles in. However, they were mostly at a 10 resistance instead of 8!

Legs aren't sore at all. That's weird, but I have been doing tons of squats and my thigh/calf muscles are on the "fit" side lately.

My butt, however is another story. You know where it hurts after the first bike ride of the season? Yup, that's it :rofl1:
