At first I was like "WHOA! THAT'S AWESOME AND I'M JEALOUS!"

But then I realized it's only October 3rd, and that means you guys are going to have a loooooong winter ahead of you!

I lived in in North-central Maine for 2 years, and it started snowing in early October. We had to incorporate cold weather snow gear INTO our Halloween costumes if we went Trick-or-Treating! We'd have 6-8ft of snow until it started melting in April-May. And as soon as it melted, people started preparing for it allll over again!

I do wish it was cooler outside here, though- our high today is 86, and our low for tonight is 74. It's supposed to hit 90 tomorrow :(

I just want a snow day...don't care if there is snow or not,..just an everything cancelled and everyone leave me alone. Sorry your not happy about your snow. If it would kill these freaking plague of mosquitoes I would welcome it with open arms. They tried to carry me away last night. Vampires shampires, these guys will drain you dry.

Still pretty chilly today and cloudly. Little bit of snow left. Missoula didn't get hardly anything, though.

But yeah, our snow season lasts from Oct to June.

Every year when we get our first cold day of fall/winter I wonder how I possibly make it through temperatures far colder than this every year, haha. I am freezing today and I don't even think we're below zero yet. I hope we get another winter this year as nice/mild as last year was.

It snowed off and on this morning and apparently will do so again tonight. None of it stuck to the ground yet though. I really don't mind snow itself. It's kind of pretty (unless it's on the road - then it's dirty and dangerous). I hate the cold and the ice (especially the ice!) that comes with it.
