dreams

I dreamt last night that that I was playing with a big fat fawn pug...what is wrong with me? My girlfriend alo told me that in the ten days that she has been away from home she has dreamt about our pug almost ever night...what is wrong with her?

I guess this is more a dog behavior question than a training question. I know that my dogs dream, but does anyone know what they dream about? Do they have thoughts about past experiences, good and bad, or do they worry and hope about "what ifs"? Our rescue whines, barks and growls in his sleep.
