    crate training/ drinking water

My puppy is now 14 weeks old and has been doing really well with not pooping in his crate (he hasn't in weeks) but still pees in there almost every day. Ever since we got him at 7 weeks we have been crate training him and every time we take him outside (about every 2 hours) he pees and poops...

    crate training/ drinking water

I leave a bowl outside the crate that he takes sips from before going on his bathroom breaks but when I feed him, I put the water and food bowls in the crate with him because I had heard that feeding them in there makes them more comfortable with the crate.

    crate training/ drinking water

thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I tried the advice and I took him out to let him pee (which he did) and then brought him back in and put him in his crate where he drank a good bit of water. Then, 10 minutes I come back over to take him out and he has already peed in there!

thank you for all of your advice! I have been trying to coax him with treats and have been praising him when he does follow me on the leash. Unfortunately he still continues to be obstinate towards leash training. He will be 9 weeks this wednesday and we have been working with him on it for...

    leash training for puppies

Hello, I have another puppy question about my 8wk old aussie... I am trying to teach him to follow me on the lead but am running into some difficulties. Sometimes he does great and follows me everywhere with only just a little coaxing. Other times, I can even get him out of his pen in the...

    puppy-dog introductions

thank you so much for all of your advice!! Its relieving to hear that this isn't anything too serious. The 9yo lab has never gotten into a fight that ended in any bloodshed, she has gotten pretty aggressive when she meets what I guess are other dominant dogs wanting to fight her but we have...

Hello everyone, I am the new owner of a 8 week old australian shepherd puppy (male). Before getting him I currently have one other 9yo female black lab who is on the dominant side I believe. With other dogs, she either loves them and will play for hours or she if she doesn't like them, she...
